Arcade Fire to score the new Spike Jonze movie

Arcade Fire’s new album may or may not be called Reflektor, but while we wait on solid ground for news on their fourth album comes word that they’ll also be providing new music for the new Spike Jonze movie.

Called Her, the flick takes place in the not-so-distant future and sees Joaquin Phoenix’s character buying the world’s first A.I. operating system and going all gooey over it. Watch the trailer up top.

This isn’t the band’s first collaboration with Jonze, who directed Scenes from the Suburbs and nabbed an acoustic version of “Wake Up” for his last movie, Where the Wild Things Are.
