The artist formerly known as Snoop Dogg is releasing his own brand of dog food

Snoop Dogg is a Lion now but that hasn’t halted his love of mutts with word that he’s about to release his own brand of dog food called Dog for Dog.

Snoop announced the move on Chelsea Lately, where he explained that the food will use a Toms-inspired business model—for every bag you buy, a shelter in need will get one, too.

“What people don’t understand is that a lot of these shelters, they execute these dogs not because they don’t have a place or someone that wants to adopt them, it’s more about they don’t have food to feed them,” said Snoop. [via HipHopDX]
