We can’t be sure when The 90s Button launched, but having just discovered it this week, we also can’t resist sharing.

It’s concept is simple: on a page designed straight out of the Angelfire days, The 90s Button opens with three Hammer-dance GIFs and an “Unleash Heaven?” button that features two Hasselhoffian snapshots. Click it and you’ll be treated to a random video from the Internet’s favourite decade.

When we tried it today, our first clip was Savage Garden’s “Truly Madly Deeply” which was followed by “Gettin Jiggy Wit It,” two straight wins.

You’ll end up with some duds for certain, but for every broken link and Cool Carona track there’s an endless line of Eurodance classics and jean-jacket power ballads.

This isn’t safe for work, if only because you’ll waste countless hours aimlessly clicking about instead of doing any.
