She & Him forbid fans from taking photos at Turf Toronto's first night

In our photos from the first night of TuURF Toronto you’ll be quick to spot a curious omission—no photos of headliners She & Him. That’s because the duo only allowed an extremely limited amount of accreditted photographers to take shots during their set.

Frank Yang on Twitter says that only five media members were accreditted for their set, adding that a limited media police has been their endgame for years. A review in the Montreal Gazette says no photographers were allowed to shoot She & Him during their set at the city’s International Jazz Festival.

Fans were not allowed to take any photos during their set, with Canada.com reporting off Tweets that venue security was shining flashlights and even ejecting fans attempting to take photos with their phones or cameras. Still, they’re out there if you know where to look.
