What funny Canadian boys.
The Melvins joined Rush for a leg of their 1994 tour. Here’s how our nice Canadian boys welcomed them to the tour.
It reads:
“To the Mervins
Murphtones
Melons
Melvins
Welcome to the tour. We hope it’s not too long and tiring for you. Please accept this bottle of champagne in lieu of any cash payment. Thank you for your cooperation and we hope you don’t suck like Primus.
– Alex, Geddy, Neil”
