The big splash making news rounds today is that Daft Punk are actual dudes with actual faces, but then we already kind of figured that Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and Thomas Bangalter weren’t so much robots as they were real dudes focused more on their music than their celebrity.

Instead, let’s focus on a discovery by Kanye West fansite Kanye to The, where user EloNoolah was somehow seemingly the first to notice that Bangalter and de Homem-Christo are credited as composers on Yeezy’s “Black Skinhead” in a Vevo upload of its Saturday Night Live performance.

Consequence of Sound did some snooping through Rolling Stone’s archives and corroborated it all, pointing out an interview in which Bangalter says Kanye West spent a recent session rapping and “kind of screaming primally.”
