Daft Punk have their own Formula 1 racecar

The buzz about this record has officially evolved into a vroooom. Expanding on the inventiveness of the marketing campaign that’s lead up to the release of Random Access Memories this week, Daft Punk and Columbia Records have become an official sponsor of the Lotus F1 racing team.
A commercial posted to YouTube (see below) features Guy-Man and Thomas posing with their custom racecar, and mentions the Grand Prix de Monaco, suggesting this will be the maiden voyage for the Daft Punkmobile.
If this racecar doesn’t also fly, I’ll feel a little ripped off. That said, I’m sure it has a killer sound system.
