Because the internet is what it is, Psy’s new song and long awaited follow up to “Gangnam Style” hit the internet a day early today. Called “Gentleman,” the track is about what you’d expect. Like its predecessor it’s a little irritating at first, with its backbone striking a balance between Benny Benassi’s “Satisfaction,” the Black Eyed Peas’ “The Time” and the smash hit that crossed the South Korean singer into the worldwide market, but by the track’s mid-point we’ll wager you’ll be moving in your seat. It’s got the right of bounce to it and, in spite of its bizarrely censoring (“I’m a mother-father gentleman”) a hook that we can see non-Korean speakers shouting for weeks. Months, maybe.

Oh, and yes, he is shouting WEST SIIIIIIIIIIIDE over and over towards the end of the song.

The song’s being taken down from sites like YouTube and Soundcloud as fast as fans can upload it, leading us to believe that yeah, it’s probably real. Assuming the embeds below die, we’ll do our best to upload a new clip, but you can always click HERE to search YouTube for new uploads of the track sorted by upload date.
