Feist helped Samsung launch its new Galaxy S4 smartphone last night with simultaneous performances in Toronto, Montreal, and Vancouver—as a hologram.

Feist helped Samsung launch its new Galaxy S4 smartphone last night with simultaneous performances in Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver, which we realize sounds insane but actually happened because she did it as a hologram. Technology, right?!
The 3D-gig was made possible thanks to Musion, a British company specializing in holographic technology.
“To get a chance to be a hologram is kind of playing into every childhood fantasy dream of the magic of smoke and mirrors and really lives up to a lot of my dreams in terms of the things I have been trying to do live for years,” said Feist in a statement. Adding to the bill were performances from Stars in Vancouver, Dragonette in Montreal and Walk Off the Earth in Toronto.
