FREE MIXTAPE OF THE WEEK: Sasha Go Hard, 'Round 3'

Although Sasha Go Hard (along with peers Chief Keef, Katie Got Bandz, King L, and producer Young Chop) has been one of the faces of Chicago’s drill scene, she’s clearly not planning to leave it at that. Her third mixtape, Round 3, is a bevy of bass-heavy bangers featuring Sasha bringing that heat. The petite 20-year-old spits raunchy battle rhymes but somehow maintains hints of vulnerability and charm through her braggadocio. She inadvertently balances being a sweetheart and being a rapper which makes her all the more endearing. While most of the songs here carry the essence of drill, her choice of guests like Kreayshawn, Le1f, and Diplo (for production on “Damn”) hints at Sasha’s pop intentions.
