The Strokes announce new album 'Comedown Machine'

Either because he was bored or because he was stoked on poppy new single “One Way Trigger,” redditor AndersonEnvy decided to poke around The Strokes’ website and stumbled on an image with the words Comedown Machine.

“Well, basically — when people make websites they sometimes test them live online and try to hide it,” said AndersonEnvy. “But it’s not hidden enough to other people that can also make websites.”

He was right—the Strokes announced this morning that the new album would be called Comedown Machine. The next single, “All the Time,” will be released on February 19, and so we sit in wait and wonder if it’ll live up to the confusion that surprise first single “One Way Trigger” caused.
