Watch The Ataris' singer have an on-stage meltdown

The Ataris were in New Jersey this weekend running through a performance of “Your Boyfriend Sucks” when singer Kris Roe had a complete childish breakdown towards the end of the track, smashing his guitar into Rob Felicetti’s kit and calling the performance “fucking embarassing”.

“Our drummer’s fucking failing tonight… I don’t know what the fucking problem is but I’m gonna finish the set by myself,” he said after kicking the kit and tossing the high-hat off the stage.

Worse, the crowd seemed to encourage his behaviour, yelling “ROCK N’ ROLL!” after Roe said “there’s only a certain amount of shit” he can “fucking take.”

For what it’s worth, Felicetti is pretty new to the band. He joined as a lead guitarist back in 2010, but he’s only been behind the drums since the start of this year. But just think of the incentives he has to stick with it! The insanity starts about 4:40 into the video posted above. [via Lambgoat]
