Sigur Rós' new video for "Ekki Múkk" is weird and gross

Well that escalated quickly, didn’t it? The latest in Sigur Rós’ massively pretentious Mystery Film Experiment thankfully doesn’t feature anybody’s dong, but it does doddle around for 6 minutes before Tommy Carcetti from the Wire starts inexplicably cuddling with a dead fox. And then it spends another 2-minutes locked onto a time lapse of that same dead fox, complete with maggots crawling in and around it. Weird for the sake of weird doesn’t cover it.
But hey, at least it ends with two snails about to smooch, or whatever.
