Yesterday, the Internet exploded in histrionics with the news that Chris Brown got a neck tattoo that looks suspiciously, almost definitely like a battered Rihanna. His publicist claims that it’s actually a Day of the Dead “sugar skull,” despite the fact that skulls generally do not feature eyelids and lips.

Whether that’s true or not, what we know for sure is that it’s a truly horrible idea for a tattoo. And we’ve learned that it was not Brown’s first idea for neck art; he tossed out five ideas that he eventually decided weren’t awful enough. We’ve helpfully mocked them up for you below.
