EXCLUSIVE: Watch Yellowcard's new video for "Here I Am Alive"

“Here I Am Alive” is the second single from the eighth album from Jacksonville, Florida’s Yellowcard, Southern Air, out August 14.

Featuring Tay Jardine from We Are The In Crowd, the song follows the release of “Awakening” early in July, the opening song from the band’s second album since their brief hiatus from 2008 to 2010. They returned in 2011 with When You’re Through Thinking, Say Yes, a critical and commercial success that saw the band return to their independent roots with Hopeless Records, with whom the band teamed up with again for Southern Air.

In addition to Jardine’s contribution, “Here I Am Alive” was also co-written by former Fall Out Boy frontman and fun dude to go recording shopping with, Patrick Stump.
