If you’re like us, you might have been scratching your head at the Olympics Closing Cemeronies, wondering quietly to yourself, “what is an Ed Sheeran and why is it covering Pink Floyd?”

But that’s the opposite of what these tweeps thought. When Sheeran took the stage to perform “Wish You Were Here” with Nick Mason, Mike Rutherford and Richard Jones, his fans were ecstatic… because they thought he’d written a new song.
