Enslaved reveal artwork for upcoming album 'RIITIIR'

When we talked to Enslaved last October, they told us their next album could be their most aggressive yet. Today we’ve finally got a title, and it’s a bit of a mouthful—the iconic Norwegian metal outfit will release RIITIIR on September 28th in Europe, October 2nd in North America.
Guitarist Ivar Bjørnson says the album’s title is a “self made Norse-ified version of the word Rites/Rituals,” adding that the title roughly translates to “The Rites of Man.”
