It’s been over a year since Kreashawn released her breakout viral hit “Gucci Gucci,” and nearly 36 million YouTUbe views later, she’s prepping the release of her debut album. In “Summertime,” Kreayshawn brags that your “bitch is on her mind” and that “your bitch is all [hers],” as the video plays out as if it was all dubbed to a low-fi VHS tape. It’s been over a year since Kreashawn released her breakout viral hit “Gucci Gucci,” and nearly 36 million YouTUbe views later, she’s prepping the release of her debut album Something ‘Bout Kreay (August 14).
Kreayshawn’s new music video is a bit different from her recent clip for “Breakfast,” in that it looks like it had a mere fraction of the budget. Not that the production on “Breakfast” was particularly lofty. It looks like she spent more on syrup for the “Breakfast” video than she spent on “Summertime” in its entirety.
In “Summertime,” Kreayshawn brags that your “bitch is on her mind” and that “your bitch is all [hers],” as the video plays out as if it was all dubbed to a low-fi VHS tape. It’s unknown whether Kreayshawn bought an old video camera from a pawn shop, or if she used digital trickery to make the footage look especially low-fi, but one thing is for certain — this video took about ten minutes to make.
