A little more than two weeks in advance of the opening of her 3D popumentary/concert-film Part Of Me, Katy Perry has released the music video for "Wide Awake." Directed by Tony 'Truand' Datis, the clip demonstrates that surviving a short-lived celebrity marriage does indeed give you peculiar witch powers, which you can use to punch-out some fancy looking, Unicorn riding prince in pink pantaloons.

I’d like to see more of this freaky surrealism in Part Of Me 3D, but since it’s being marketed as a documentary, I doubt we’ll get much more of a taste. Then again, Katy Perry does look pretty freaky without makeup in the film, so who knows what to expect.
