Halifax's Summersonic festival announces 2012 line-up featuring Rise Against, Ben Harper, Stars and more

Halifax’s Summersonic festival hasn’t been back since its 2008 debut, but on September 7th until the 9th they’re ready to give it another go, announcing today that they’ll take over the Garrison Grounds at Citadel Hill for 3 days of music featuring Rise Against, Ben Harper, Stars and many more.

Early bird ticket packages are available, with a three day festival pass costing $70 until July 20th, after which they’ll run you $85. Early bird tickets go on sale July 6th. Head to the Summersonic website for more info.

K’Naan, Lagwagon, Daniel Lanois, the Vandals, Bahamas, Matt Andersen, the Stanfields and Martin Sexton round out the line-up, with more artists expected to be announced sometime next week.
