We usually try not to double-dip on news subjects, but for Levon Helm’s last studio recordings we’re more than willing to make an exception. And in a true testament to his legacy as both a legendary musician and all around great dude, “Toast to Freedom” is a tribute to Amnesty International featuring almost 50 other musicians (and Ewan McGregor, for some reason).

A whole bunch of musicians will perform the track on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno tonight, but watch the video at the top of the post to hear the track with Helm’s contributions in tow. He first appears at the 4:51 mark. [via Consequence of Sound]
