He was arrested for pushing her into a window frame.

Donald Fagen, lead singer of jazz-infused classic-rock band Steely Dan is facing charges of misdemeanour assault and harassment stemming from an altercation with his wife.

A police complaint revealed that at 5:30 p.m. on January 4, Fagen and his wife Libby Titus were in a verbal dispute at their Upper East Side New York home when he pushed her into a marble window frame, resulting in a bruised and swollen right arm. Fagen, 67, was released without bail the following day and an order of protection was issued for his 69-year-old wife, who is also a singer and songwriter.

When contacted by The New York Post, she initially stated: “I don’t feel good, I’m very tired and I’m divorcing my husband.” However, in a subsequent conversation with the paper, Titus said that she had changed her mind and would not be pressing charges.
