If you bought The Flaming Lips and Heady Fwends on Record Store Day but felt ripped off because your copy wasn’t coated in the blood of your favourite artists… you’re weird. But starting tomorrow, assuming you can afford it, you can quench that weirdness by purchasing one of the blood-embedded copies.

They’ll cost you about $2500 (plus another $36 for the record itself) and in return you’ll net yourself an album with a drop of blood on it. No word on if it’ll be advertised whose blood it is, but as Spin points out, it could be anyone from Yoko Ono to Bon Iver’s Justin Vernon. Ke$ha’s another option, but we’re having a hard time pointing that out without making an inappropriate joke. Stay tuned to their webstore to see when it goes on sale.
