Malin Akerman will play Blondie's Debbie Harry in the CBGB movie

The previously announced CBGB film has made another casting announcement: Canadian actor Malin Akerman will play Blondie singer Debbie Harry.
Akerman joins previously announced cast members Alan Rickman as CBGB owner Hilly Kristal, and Rupert Grint Dead Boys guitarist Cheetah Chrome. There aren’t a lot of other details on the film just yet, but Kristen Stewart was reportedly unavailable to just go ahead and play everyone in this movie. [via Coming Soon]
