Listen to a "new" Goodie Mob song, "Is That You God"

Goodie Mob’s first single since reuniting was shocking in a number of ways. “Fight to Win” was gaudy, overwrought and in spite of it all, disastrously underwhelming. Good news, though: “Is That You God,” their second single, is much more in line with what fans were expecting. Of course maybe that’s because it’s a few years old. As Prefix points out, the track first appeared a few years ago on an Adult Swim remix album.

This is the first time we’ve heard it like this, though, as it’s set to appear on the soundtrack to upcoming movie The Obama Effect. And since it suggests Cee-Lo might finally be ready to rap again, we’ll take it. Goodie Mob’s Age Against The Machine doesn’t yet have a release date announced, so we can’t be sure whether “Is That You God” will be featured on their reunion album.
