No Doubt are officially returning to the pop music world on September 25th, with their first album since 2001's Rock Steady. The album is yet to be titled, but promised to share lots of photos, videos, and updates as the band finishes working on their triumphant return. The first video they have shared gives us a peak inside the studio, as we witness the recording of a song called "Push & Shove," the much-hyped collaboration between No Doubt and Major Lazer.

No Doubt are officially returning to the pop music world on September 25th, with their first album since 2001’s Rock Steady. The album is yet to be titled, but they promised to share lots of photos, videos, and updates as the band finishes working on their triumphant return.

The first video they’ve shared gives us a peek inside the studio, as we witness the recording of a song called “Push & Shove”:

“Push & Shove” is the much-hyped collaboration between No Doubt and Major Lazer, the electro-duo comprised of mega-producers Diplo and Switch. The track also features Jamaican vocalist Busy Signal.

We don’t hear the song in its entirety in this preview, but it’s a good sign of what’s to come. What’s more interesting is the reveal that Interscope label-boss and leathery-snouted turtleman Jimmy Iovine actually linked up Major Lazer and No Doubt. I thought all collaborations happened via Twitter these days, but apparently those major label dinosaurs are still good for something.
