Wiz Khalifa busted for marijuana posession at Holiday Inn

Yesterday afternoon, TMZ reported that Wiz Khalifa was busted for marijuana possession in his room at a Holiday Inn in Nashville.

Metro Nashville Police were called to the scene after guests in the hotel reported smelling an abundance of marijuana smoke. Wiz allegedly tried to toss something out the window as police were entering his room. The item was recovered, and identified as a “small bag of ganja.”

The reigning Prince of Purple Kush was served with a citation for the offense, which I imagine he used as rolling papers shortly after.

This is nothing new for Wiz — he’s been booked on drug charges before.

In 2009, Wiz Khalifa was imprisoned after authorities found 2 ounces of marijuana on his tour bus in Greenville, NC. He posted $300,000 bail and was released the following day.

So why then is the Holiday Inn always associated with partying in hip-hop culture? It seems like there are narcs constantly lurking in the next room.
