Hoverboarding is not a crime.

“Black and Yellow” rapper Wiz Khalifa was cuffed by the men in black for the unlikely offence of riding a hoverboard around Los Angeles International Airport. Sounds like he’s been watching Back to the Future while enjoying some kush and orange juice.

When Khalifa refused to dismount from his gold hands-free Segway – the futuristic devices that have been described as “stupid fucking Viner gliders” – he was slammed to the ground by six U.S. Customs officials and repeatedly told to “stop resisting.” In the video footage later shared by the 27-year-old MC, he was seen calmly stating “I’m not resisting, sir.”

After warning the officers that this ugly footage would show up on TMZ if they took further action, Khalifa was released without any charges. He then hovered over to Twitter to share his thoughts on the absurdity of the altercation, noting that police will soon be seen floating to the scene of the crime. “I stand for our generation and our generation is gonna be riding hover boards,” Khalifa stated, cementing his spot on the ticket for the next presidential election.
