The Weeknd finally announces first tour, with only one Canadian date

We knew it was coming—not just because of the major festival appearances this summer, but because he said so when he held those band auditions back in January. The Weeknd has announced his/their first tour, but sadly, NOT UNLIKE HIS BUDDY DRAKE OVER THERE, Canada has been largely neglected on this leg.

Starting after the Coachella appearances are wrapped, Abel and his band will start on the east coast of the U.S. and make their way west, making their only Canadian stop at Vancouver’s Commodore Ballroom on May 12. Check out the full list of dates below. [via Pitchfork]
