Ted Nugent is anything if not outspoken, but while it’s rarely news when he hassomething crazy to say about the upcoming US Presidential election, his latest comments are something to behold.

As you might have heard, Ted Nugent got himself into some trouble when he joked about how he’d be either dead or in jail if Barack Obama is re-elected next year. Because of his comments, the Secret Service is reportedly looking into whether or not he was making a threat.

He says he wasn’t, and in an interview with the Dana Show, he goes onto defend his politics, saying he’s like a “black Jew at a Nazi-Klan rally.”

“There are some power abusing, corrupt monsters in our federal government that despise me because I have the audacity to speak the truth, to identify the violations of our government,” he says.

“I will stand by my speech. It was 100% positive. It’s about we, the people, taking back our American dream from the corrupt monsters in the federal government under this administration, and the communist czars he has appointed. If anybody has a problem with that, call 1-800-NUMB-NUT and Michael Moore will try to explain it to you as he searches for soap.”

Obviously he’s not a Democrat, but Nugent’s public endorsement of Republican candidate Mitt Romney has raised the ire of some GOP supporters who, in turn, have begged for their party leader to publicly condemn the gun-toting rocker’s support, especially after Nugent claimed on a recent radio appearance that Romney agrees with what he has to say.

With the U.S. campaign process heating up, Nugent’s actions and words have become surprisingly pivotal. And with this latest tirade, there’s only one thing we can say: Democrats, start your engines.
