Listen to Japandroids cover Nick Cave's "Jack The Ripper"

The B-side to the single for best new song you’ve heard in weeks, aka the Japandroids’ “The House That Heaven Built,” is a cover of Nick Cave’s “Jack The Ripper,” and while it too, uhm, rips, it’s still not as euphoric as that lead single.

Still, damned if this album isn’t one of the things we’re most looking forward to this summer. Celebration Rock comes out June 5. In the meantime, check out (all our probably subsequent squealing) their Cave cover below. [via Stereogum]
