The YouTube-era has given us a lot of interesting covers, many of which adapt songs to other instruments and genres. And in a sense, jsabbott0‘s piano rendition of Mastodon’s Leviathan is no differe.t

But in another, totally different sense, he did the entire album in one take on piano without sheet music, which is so, so cool. Okay, so he took “Joseph Merrick” out of the mix (he claims he wasn’t crazy about how he played it), but a retake of the album’s last track is available to watch here.
