If you’re a fan of the Melvins (and on a lesser note Nirvana) with at least $10,000 to spend on a 40-year-old van then today’s your lucky day: ‘Melvan’, the legendary sludge band’s original tour van, is currently being auctioned off on eBay.

Featuring hand drawn art from Nirvana’s Kurt Cobain, bidding on the 1972 Dodge Sportsman Royal Van is currently sitting at $6,100, but with 8 days left in the auction and 20 bids made so far, you can expect the price to soon skyrocket, especially since the auction says its bidding reserve has not yet been met and its description mentions a mandatory, $10,000 deposit due within 72 hours of winning the auction.

As for the van itself, it’s covered in hand done artwork, from the Black Flag logo on the drive side door to the KISS portraits markered on by Cobain, who the auction makes a point of mentioning “used to drive this van to local shows.” The auction makes no mention of whether or not the van actually works, but since it’s “World Famous,” we’ll assume that’s not exactly a priority.
