Operation Ivy's 'Energy' and 'Hectic' to be reissued on vinyl

Operation Ivy’s back catalogue hasn’t seen a vinyl repressing in forever, thanks in part to former label Lookout’s financial troubles and partly because Tim Armstrong’s Hellcat imprint bought the rights to the band’s music right at the height of the music industry’s struggles.
But today vinyl collectors got some good news, with Interpunk quietly putting vinyl re-pressings of Energy and Hectic up for sale. According to the popular punk retailer, both releases should be out on April 17th and if you’re excited, which you should be, you can pre-order both now. [via Consequence of Sound]
