Everclear, Sugar Ray, Lit, Gin Blossoms, and Marcy Playground refuse to let 90s radio rock die on upcoming tour

Can we agree that this nostalgia thing has gone way too far now?

Everclear is bringing along Sugar Ray, Lit, Gin Blossoms, and Marcy Playground as they all hold open their wallets for the first ever Summerland tour, promising you “1,000 hits for $40” in the video starring Everclear’s Art Alexikis and Sugar Ray/TV’s Mark McGrath, which you can watch above.

“We’ve wanted to do a tour like this for a long time [HOW LONG, EXACTLY?] and we’re so excited to be hitting the road with our friends to bring you this huge summer party.” Dad, you’re embarrassing us.

There are no Canadian dates on this tour, at least not yet, but we’re okay with that, right? We’ve got dreams of our own bands’ reunion tours (did these Summerland bands break up ever? Who even knows) to get fake excited about. [via Punknews]
