Man dies after a fight at a Hedley concert in B.C.

On Tuesday night, at a Hedley show at the Encana Events Centre in Dawson Creek, B.C., a 28-year-old man died after getting in a fight over spilled beer.
Though the details aren’t yet known, an argument erupted, Const. Lesley Smith said, and it escalated from there.
“I would say the three males were influenced by alcohol and this assault went too far,” said Smith. “The two victims tried to walk away but the three suspects assaulted them, but that assault took place in the men’s washroom.”
One of the men suffered non life-threatening injuries. The other later succumbed to his injuries in the hospital. Three suspects were taken into police custody after the show. [via CBC]
