Death Grips sign to Epic Records, announce two new albums for 2012

With its pulsing, sometimes terrifying take on hip-hop, Death Grips’ Exmilitary was one of last year’s biggest surprises, and now the California-based group is set to follow it up with not one, but two, new releases.

The news of both albums comes today after Death Grips announced that they had signed to Epic records, which while a surprise certainly comes as good news for the group, who’ll first release The Money Store on April 21st (vinyl only for Record Store Day, full release on April 24th). A few months later, sometime in the fall, they’ll release its follow-up, No Love.

While details on the second album are scare, two songs from The Money Store are already making the rounds. Watch the video for “Blackjack” up top, and check out “Get Got” below. [via The Quietus]
