Last night Jimmy Fallon took to his own stage for the latest in his ongoing series of pop-culture vulturing parodies, dressing up as Ziggy Stardust to cover “Space Oddity” from Tim Tebow’s perspective. While Fallon’s always been a nervous, insufferable wiener, he’s an unparalleled impressionist (and steadily improving late night host) and his superlative take on Bowie’s unmistakable voice proves this.

This performance as “TeBowie” is two-times timely, since Tim Tebow’s last “miraculous” comeback just happened to take place on Bowie’s 65th birthday. Watch above to see Fallon as Bowie as Tebow talking to God about football.
