Turns out Swizz Beatz is not the CEO of Megaupload, but he is interested in the job

Last night, MTV News confirmed that Swizz Beatz is not, in fact, the CEO of Megaupload, but that he is “seriously involved” with the company.

The title was put on Megaupload’s site prematurely, according to MTV’s unnamed source. Swizz Beatz was in negotiations to run Megaupload just days before the U.S. Justice Department shut it down.

Several company employees were arrested and charged with multiple racketeering and copyright infringement claims, but Swizz wasn’t named.
