Mike Skinner announces the release of a Streets memoir, 'The Story of the Streets'

The Streets‘ final album Computers and Blues was released alomost a year ago, last February, and Mike Skinner has kept busy in the time between, including the book he’s just announced, The Story of the Streets.

“An empty shell of what the book is yet to be,” Skinner tweeted on Tuesday, linking to the Amazon UK product page (here’s the Canadian one). The release date is set for March 29.

On his new blog, Skinner has also been posting some of the childhood photos set to appear in the book. “my first day at school. and strong emotions for me because my little girl starts nursery this week. circle of life shit. lion king and that.” [via The Guardian]
