In celebration of Martin Luther King Jr. Day in the U.S., Mos Def’s put out his first track under the name Yasiin Bey (not counting Black Star’s new stuff). Incorporating the beat to Watch the Throne’s inescapable “Niggas in Paris,” “Niggas in Poorest” is the first in Bey’s proposed Top 40 Underdog, which will reportedly have the Dexter star taking on radio-rap’s finest cuts.
Yes, this is as weird as it sounds. Pretty cool though, right? [via Prefix]
