Listen to a new Azealia Banks song, "Bambi"

Call it a coincidence that Azealia Banks’ “Bambi” is immediately reminescent of Animotion’s “Obsession” because the latest track from the much blogged about New Yorker just happened to have been picked up by Mugler, a fashion line which used the track to back a Paris fashion show. Pitchfork reports that Banks is working with Mugler on a video for her song “Liquorice.”

As you’d guess, the track is less rap inspired than expected, though she does cut some rhymes loose midway through.

Banks recently signed to Universal, so get used to the name if you haven’t already.
