Director Bruce McDonald's new film will be based on the upcoming Stars album

Stars are at work on a new album, and with it we might also see an accompanying Bruce McDonald film.

According to a recent interview in Halifax paper The Chronicle Herald, McDonald said that the new film will be based around Stars’ in-progress album, which is currently being called Those Days Are Gone.

Like McDonald’s Broken Social Scene flick This Movie Is Broken, the Stars film will be fictional, and told around a musical narrative. [via Exclaim!]
