Cancer Bats reveal release date and details for new album 'Dead Set On Living'

Cancer Bats’ album has been expected out in April for sometime now, and now the band has confirmed its release date—Dead Set On Living will be out on April 17.

“We really strived for that raw, off-the-floor vibe this time around,” vocalist Liam Cormier says of the new album in a statement. “It’s really the bridge between our live show and what we put on record.”

Working again with producers Eric Ratz and Kenny Luong at Vespa studios, Dead Set On Living is said to be both the heavier and lighter follow-up to 2010’s Bears, Mayors, Scraps & Bones—the music is among the heaviest they’ve done, while thematically, it’s said to be more encouraging.

The band is planning a spring cross-Canada tour as well, with dates to be confirmed. Check out the full track listing below.
