Cancer Bats frontman Liam Cormier fundraised more than $20k for The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation.

Yesterday, I got my hair cut, and my local Town Barber was more than a little aflutter when I got there. With good cause; after weeks of fundraising, Cancer Bats frontman Liam Cormier was coming in to shave his head in support of the The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation, with plans to donate his locks once all was said and done.

Fans had just over a month to contribute, either online or at any Cancer Bats concert, and they didn’t disappoint. When Cormier finally stopped to tally the numbers, he’d raised more than $20,000.

And so yesterday, he put his (or their) money where his mouth is.

Kudos to Cormier for the good cause. And hey — dude’s kind of pulling off the bald look, eh?
