Amy Winehouse's dad planning a tribute concert for his daughter

Amy Winehouse’s father has announced a tribute concert for his late daughter, with proceeds going to the foundation he set up in her name after her death last summer, the Amy Winehouse Foundation.

“The Amy Winehouse Foundation is very excited to be planning a benefit concert in tribute to Amy later this year,” her father, Mitch, told the UK’s Press Association. “We will be talking to a variety of people in the coming months and will announce those performing as soon as we can.”

So far, that includes Lily Allen and Jessie J, both of whom were inspired by Winehouse. [via Billboard]
