Alleged old Radiohead demo is actually by a Toronto bakery owner

So remember that most recent alleged old Radiohead demo that was supposedly (amazingly) called “Putting Ketchup In The Fridge”? Of course it’s too good to be true.
According to Torontoist, the song, called “Sit Still,” is by a Toronto bakery owner named Christopher Stopa, who seems to think the demo might have ended up online because of some demos he once shopped around during a stint in NYC trying to make it as a musician.
“As nice as it is, because I like Radiohead, and on some technical level it means I sang [the song] well, I don’t really want to be known as the person that was mistaken [for] Radiohead,” he said in an interview. And we’re fine with him being over the dream of giving up his day job to be a musician, because the bakery he owns, Bakerbots, rules. [via Torontoist]
