Since it’s impossible to address the total madness of the music industry in only five days, Pop Uncultured saves some of the week’s strangest stories for Friday afternoon. Enjoy?

Bon Iver released a workout video [FULL STORY]

And it’s earnest, inspiring and incredibly personal:

But why do I feel like I’ve seen it before?

Korn believe Obama is an Illuminati “puppet”

Hot off the relevancy of their recent dubstep record, Korn have called out Barack Obama as an “Illuminati puppet,” claiming that he’s “dragged the country down to the worst it’s ever been.” Said DaVinci Code writer Dan Brown of the statement, “Stop nagging me, Korn. I’m not naming my next book, Freak On A Leash.” [via NME]

Ja Rule‘s been keeping a prison diary [FULL STORY]

The XX partied so much they’re releasing a “club” album

Just in time for festival season, The XX hope to release their sophomore record; an album they hope to be more “club”-oriented in response to the band’s recent affinity for “partying”. Bet they had a blast.

Don’t let Star Wars references keep you off your grind.

Questlove is being censored [FULL STORY]

After getting scolded by NBC for this Michele Bachman stunt, Questlove is being forced to submit all song choices for approval. Unfortunately, this meant he was unable to play “He Blinded Me With Science” for Katie Holmes, as well as “It’s Raining Men” for Tom Cruise (probably).

Sinead O’Connor got married in Vegas

Following her Twitter campaign for a lover last September, Sinead O’Connor tied the knot with her partner, Barry Herridge, at a drive-thru chapel in Las Vegas just yesterday. And while I’m sure that Sinead and Barry have a love that dare not speak its name, I bet their friendship hardly compares 2 this:

Ice Cube is developing a TV drama

According to Vulture, rapper Ice Cube is developing a revenge drama for FX, entitled Eye For An Eye, which, contrary to popular belief, will not revolve around taking names for the way his music’s been represented in popular culture:
