Green Day's Billie Joe Armstrong forms The Boo with his wife and two kids

First there was Green Day, then there was Emily’s Army—with Pinhead Gunpowder somewhere in the middle—and today Punknews reports that two generations of the Armstrong family have come together to form The Boo. Consisting of Billie Joe, his wife Adrienne and their songs Jacob and Joe, The Boo have apparently already pressed a 7” together (proof seen here in a tweet from Mrs. Armstrong).

Unfortunately this is all the info we’ve got, but we’d imagine that when songs do surface they’ll be of the pop-rock/adorable variety.
