At the end of each week, #Top40Tweets lists a cross-section of artists on the current pop charts and puts their tweets on display (along with their current chart number) for your enjoyment/scrutiny. This week, we look at 5 artists on the Billboard Music Charts.

#10: Katy Perry – The One That Got Away

The whole tryptophan/turkey thing is a fallacy. Turkey has about as much tryptophan in it as chicken. Pork, Cod, Egg Whites, and Caribou all contain more tryptophan than turkey does. So basically, Katy Perry is a big dummy.

FUN FACT: After 6 weeks on the charts, “The One That Got Away” sits at #10 on the Billboard Hot 100. If it hits #1, Katy will break the tie between her and Michael Jackson for most #1 singles on one record.

Plural pies?! Even if you’re flying to Singapore, there’s no way you need more than one pie. It’s nice to have choices, but come on.

FUN FACT: Soul Plane has a rating of 18% on Rotten Tomatoes.

#25: Nicki Minaj – Fly feat. Rihanna

When she’s not parading around yelling about how young her mountain of money is, Nicki Minaj likes to use her influence for good. Also, “They’re very easy to find”?? If you’re Nicki Minaj, I guess there are very few people out there who are more fortunate than you are.

FUN FACT: Nicki has an estimated net worth of $12 million.

#53: Taylor Swift – If This Was A Movie

It’s not just for making your glamour shots look artsy — Instagram will also really bring out the golden hue of your turkey.

FUN FACT: Taylor just wrapped up the Speak Now Tour a few days ago. Boasting 80 sold out shows in a row, the tour is estimated to have grossed 96.8 million dollars. Her show in Foxborough, MA grossed over 8 million dollars alone.
